Space Saver SMT Stencils

The solution for all of these issues can be found in the Space Saver SMT Stencil. The Space Saver is a tube framed trampoline style (foil mounted on mesh) stencil.
The key difference between a Space saver stencil and a standard framed smt stencil lies primarily in its thickness. Where a standard tube framed smt stencil measures 1 ½ inches thick, the Space Saver measures only ½ inch thick. This offers the potential to literally triple your storage capacity. In addition to the increase in storage capacity, the Space Saver also offers organizational benefit. The frame is just thick enough as to allow for labeling so that the correct frame can be retrieved from storage at a glance.
In accompaniment to the added storage allowance, the Space Saver frame also offers greater cost efficiency. The size of the average PC boards is such that both top side and bottom sides of the board fit well onto one smt stencil. This also allows for faster manufacturing in that once the smt stencil is mounted into the printer at the correct offset, you will not have to change it out to print the other side of your board as both sides are already loaded. Now, instead of having to purchase and store 2 stencils, only one Space Saver stencil would be needed, which again improves upon both storage and cost.
